Heptameron Conjuration of Friday
Heptameron, "Considerations" of the day (pseudo-Peter of Abano; Robert Turner's English 1655)
The Heptameron gives a short conjuration and a table of "considerations" for each day of the week. For Friday, the angels of the day are Anael, Rachiel and Sachiel, and the angels of the air are ruled by the king Sarabotes with his ministers Amabiel, Aba, Abalidoth and Flaef, under the west wind. The perfume is pepperwort. The Friday conjuration calls the angels of the third heaven under Venus, recited after the operator has blessed the circle and put on the vestment. Its circle, three rings nine feet wide, carries in the middle ring the name and angel of the hour, the angels of the day, and the names of the season, its ruling spirits, the earth, the Sun and the Moon; the outer ring names the king and ministers of the air.
Purpose
Friday's spirits are said to give silver, stir desire, reconcile enemies, arrange marriages and remove infirmities.
