Heptameron Conjuration of Wednesday
Heptameron, "Considerations" of the day (pseudo-Peter of Abano; Robert Turner's English 1655)
The Heptameron gives a short conjuration and a table of "considerations" for each day of the week. For Wednesday, the angels of the day are Raphael, Miel and Seraphiel, and the angels of the air are ruled by the king Mediat (Modiat) with his ministers Suquinos and Sallales, under the south-west wind. The fumigation is mastic. The Wednesday conjuration calls the angels of the second heaven under Mercury, following the circle's benediction and the exorcism of the fire. Its circle, three rings nine feet wide, carries in the middle ring the name and angel of the hour, the angels of the day, and the names of the season, its ruling spirits, the earth, the Sun and the Moon; the outer ring names the king and ministers of the air.
Purpose
Wednesday's spirits are said to give metals, reveal past, present and future, pacify judges, restore lost learning, open locks and bind or loose spirits.
