The 72 Spirits of the Ars Goetia
Eligos
15th spirit of the Ars Goetia · Duke · 60 legions
Eligos, also called Abigor, is the fifteenth spirit, a great duke of 60 legions. He appears as a goodly knight carrying a lance, an ensign and a serpent. The Goetia says he discovers hidden things and knows the outcome of wars and how soldiers will meet, and that he wins the favour of lords and great persons. Weyer gives him as Abigor, and Collin de Plancy's Dictionnaire infernal illustrated him as a mounted knight.
