The 72 Spirits of the Ars Goetia
Zepar
16th spirit of the Ars Goetia · Duke · 26 legions
Zepar, the sixteenth spirit, is a great duke of 26 legions who appears in red apparel and armour like a soldier. The Goetia gives his office as causing women to love men and bringing them together, and also as making women barren. Weyer's account in the Pseudomonarchia Daemonum is closely parallel. Compared with many spirits in the catalogue his description is brief. His seal is printed in the 1904 edition after the manuscript drawings.
