The 72 Spirits of the Ars Goetia
Gremory (Gamori)
56th spirit of the Ars Goetia · Duke · 26 legions
Gremory, or Gamori, is the fifty-sixth spirit, a strong and powerful duke of 26 legions. The Goetia describes this spirit as appearing in the form of a beautiful woman wearing a duchess's crown tied about the waist and riding a great camel. Gremory tells of things past, present and to come, reveals hidden treasures and procures the love of women young and old. Weyer records the name as Gemory or Gomory. The figure is one of the few Goetic spirits described in a female form. The seal on Commons is reproduced from the 1904 edition.
