The great documentary collection of the medieval University of Paris, edited from charters, statutes and decrees. Its first volume prints the Latin text of Bishop Étienne Tempier's condemnation of 7 March 1277, including the prologue that bans books of necromancy and geomancy, and it remains the standard reference for the university's early history.
