The Great Table of the Watchtowers
The four elemental tablets · 1584
Four lettered squares joined by a central cross, received by Dee and Kelley in Kraków in 1584 and associated with the four quarters of the world and their angelic governors. The Golden Dawn later reorganised the table into the elemental Watchtowers with coloured squares, the form in which it is best known today.
