The 72 Spirits of the Ars Goetia
Crocell
49th spirit of the Ars Goetia · Duke · 48 legions
Crocell, also Crokel or Procel, is the forty-ninth spirit, a great and strong duke of 48 legions, formerly of the Order of Potentates. He appears in the form of an angel and speaks mystically of hidden things. The Goetia says he teaches geometry and the liberal sciences, makes great noises like rushing waters even where there are none, warms waters and discovers baths. Weyer records him as Procel or Procell. His seal is reproduced from the 1904 Mathers and Crowley edition.
