The 72 Spirits of the Ars Goetia
Decarabia
69th spirit of the Ars Goetia · Marquis · 30 legions
Decarabia, the sixty-ninth spirit, is a great marquis of 30 legions. The Goetia says he appears in the form of a star in a pentacle and then, at command, in human shape. He knows the virtues of birds and precious stones and can make the likeness of all kinds of birds fly before the operator, singing and drinking like natural birds. Weyer lists him as Decarabia or Carabia. The Commons file differs from most in the series: its description gives L. W. de Laurence's 1916 reprint as the source, not the 1904 edition.
