The 72 Spirits of the Ars Goetia
Foras
31st spirit of the Ars Goetia · President · 29 legions
Foras, also called Forcas, is the thirty-first spirit, a mighty president of 29 legions who appears as a strong man in human shape. The Goetia credits him with teaching the virtues of herbs and precious stones, logic and ethics, with making people invisible, long-lived and eloquent, and with discovering treasure and recovering lost things. Weyer gives a similar description under the name Forcas. His seal is reproduced from the 1904 edition.
