The 72 Spirits of the Ars Goetia
Raum
40th spirit of the Ars Goetia · Earl · 30 legions
Raum, the fortieth spirit, is a great earl of 30 legions, formerly of the Order of Thrones. He appears as a crow and then takes human form at the operator's command. The Goetia credits him with stealing treasure out of kings' houses and carrying it where he is told, destroying cities and dignities, telling things past, present and to come, and causing love between friends and foes. Weyer lists him as Raum or Raim. His seal is one of the line-drawn plates of the 1904 Mathers and Crowley edition.
