The 72 Spirits of the Ars Goetia
Ronove
27th spirit of the Ars Goetia · Marquis and Earl · 19 legions
Ronove, the twenty-seventh spirit, is a marquis and great earl ruling 19 legions. The Goetia says only that he appears in the form of a monster. His offices are linguistic and social: he gives knowledge of rhetoric and of tongues, provides faithful servants and wins the favour of friends and foes. Weyer's Pseudomonarchia gives the name as Roneve or Ronove with similar offices. His seal is reproduced on Commons from the 1904 Mathers and Crowley edition.
