The 72 Spirits of the Ars Goetia
Vual (Uvall)
47th spirit of the Ars Goetia · Duke · 37 legions
Vual, also given as Uvall or Voval, is the forty-seventh spirit, a mighty, great and strong duke of 37 legions of the Order of Potentates. He appears first as a great dromedary and then as a man, speaking imperfectly in the Egyptian tongue. The Goetia credits him with procuring the love of women, telling past, present and future and making friendship between friends and foes. Weyer gives him as Vuall. The Commons file reproduces his seal from the 1904 edition.
