Phul is the Olympic spirit of the Moon in the Arbatel of Magic (1575), and the smallest in dominion, governing only seven of the 196 Olympic provinces. The Arbatel attributes to him the power to change all metals into silver, to heal dropsy and to give spirits of the waters that serve people in visible form. It also says he can prolong life to three hundred years. Phul completes the Arbatel's planetary sequence, which runs from Saturn down to the Moon in the traditional Chaldean order. The Commons file reproduces his character.
