Agrippa's table of Saturn · 3×3 square · intelligence Agiel · spirit Zazel
Agrippa's table of Saturn is the three-by-three magic square in which the numbers 1 to 9 are arranged so that every row, column and diagonal totals 15, the whole summing to 45. In Book II, chapter 22 of De occulta philosophia, Agrippa prints the square in Arabic numerals and in Hebrew letters, together with three figures derived from it: the seal of Saturn, the sigil of its intelligence Agiel (numerically 45) and the sigil of its spirit Zazel. The sigils are traced by joining the cells of the square that spell the name. Agrippa calls Saturn's table fortunate when engraved under a good aspect and harmful under a bad one.
