The Seal of Solomon
The ring of King Solomon · Jewish, Christian and Islamic tradition
The signet ring by which, in legend, Solomon commanded demons and jinn. In later art and amulets the seal is drawn most often as a hexagram, sometimes a pentagram, enclosed in a circle and surrounded by divine names. It appears on medieval Islamic coins and tiles, Jewish amulets and the pages of the Renaissance grimoires.
