Sigillum Dei Aemeth
The Seal of God's Truth · Liber Iuratus, John Dee
A complex circular diagram of heptagons, a pentagram and divine and angelic names, first described in the medieval Sworn Book of Honorius as a seal for visionary prayer. John Dee received a revised version through Edward Kelley's scrying in 1582 and had it made in wax as the base for his shew-stone. Several medieval and Renaissance variants survive, including Dee's own wax tablet in the British Museum.
