King of the Witches

A contemporary account of Alex Sanders, the flamboyant founder of Alexandrian Wicca, written by journalist June Johns during the height of his media fame. It describes his claimed background, rituals and coven life in Manchester and London. Uncritical in places, the book is nonetheless an important primary source on the public image of witchcraft in the 1960s and on the Alexandrian tradition.
