Jewish Mysticism & Kabbalah

The Thirteen Petalled Rose

by Adin Steinsaltz · Yehuda Hanegbi (trans.)

Rabbi Adin Steinsaltz's short classic offers a lucid modern exposition of the Kabbalistic worldview: the hierarchy of worlds, angels and demons, the soul's structure, the meaning of commandments and repentance. Written in plain language without technical apparatus, it is often recommended as a first book on Jewish mystical thought from a traditional perspective. Later editions include additional essays by the author.
