Fifth Pentacle of Jupiter
Key of Solomon · Mathers 1889, fig. 22 · 5 of 7 · Ezekiel 1:1
The Fifth Pentacle of Jupiter is said to have great power and to serve for true visions; Mathers' text recalls that Jacob, through it, saw the ladder reaching to heaven. It contains no angelic names, but its versicle is drawn from the opening of Ezekiel, 'As I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of Elohim'. The Jupiter series is chiefly concerned with wealth, honour and protection, the planet's traditional benefits.
