Sixth Pentacle of Mars
Key of Solomon · Mathers 1889, fig. 30 · 6 of 7 · Psalm 37:15
The Sixth Pentacle of Mars is said to have such virtue that its bearer, if attacked, will be neither injured nor wounded, and that an assailant's weapons will turn against him. Its figure carries the words Elohim qeber in the angelic script called Malachim. The versicle is Psalm 37:15, 'Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bow shall be broken'. The Mars series reflects the planet's association with conflict, strength and protection from harm.
