Fifth Pentacle of Venus
Key of Solomon · Mathers 1889, fig. 43 · 5 of 5 · Psalm 22:14
The Fifth Pentacle of Venus, the last of the series, is said to excite love strongly when shown to anyone. Around it are the names Elohim and El Gebil together with two names Mathers could not decipher. The versicle is Psalm 22:14, 'My heart is like wax, it is melted in the midst of my bowels'. Mathers gives five pentacles of Venus, most of them concerned with love, grace and favour.
