The table of Mercury is an eight-by-eight square of the numbers 1 to 64, with lines of 260 and a total of 2080. Agrippa prints it with the seal of Mercury, the sigil of the intelligence Tiriel (260) and that of the spirit Taphthartharath (2080). He says that, engraved under a fortunate Mercury, the table makes its bearer eloquent and successful in learning and business, and that it reveals things in dreams. The long name Taphthartharath later gave its title to a Golden Dawn ritual of evocation.
