Agrippa's table of Venus · 7×7 square · intelligence Hagiel · spirit Kedemel
The table of Venus is a seven-by-seven square of the numbers 1 to 49, whose lines sum to 175 and whole to 1225. Agrippa pairs it with the seal of Venus, the sigil of the spirit Kedemel and two intelligences, Hagiel and the Bne Seraphim. He describes it as promoting concord, love and pleasant fortune. The Commons file is a modern diagram showing how Hagiel's sigil is traced over the Hebrew-letter version of the square, a clear illustration of the method behind all of Agrippa's planetary sigils. It is not a scan of the 1533 plate.
