E. A. Wallis Budge's translation of the Papyrus of Ani, a well-preserved example of the Egyptian Book of the Dead. It presents the funerary spells intended to guide the deceased through the afterlife, with hieroglyphic text and transliteration. Although outdated in its translation and interpretation, it was influential in shaping popular understanding of Egyptian religion.
