Richard Wilhelm's German translation of the I Ching, the ancient Chinese classic of divination and wisdom, rendered into English by Cary F. Baynes and first published in 1950 with a foreword by C. G. Jung. It presents the sixty-four hexagrams with the traditional texts and commentaries, as well as Wilhelm's explanations. It remains one of the most influential Western editions of the I Ching.
