S. L. MacGregor Mathers' 1887 English translation of selected texts from Christian Knorr von Rosenroth's Latin anthology Kabbala Denudata, including the Book of Concealed Mystery and the Greater and Lesser Holy Assemblies from the Zoharic corpus. Mathers added a lengthy introduction shaped by his own occult interests. Though superseded as a scholarly translation, the book was foundational for the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn and is historically important for understanding Victorian occult Qabalah.
