Waley's translation of Li Zhichang's record of the journey of the Taoist master Qiu Chuji (Changchun) to the court of Chinggis Khan between 1220 and 1224. It is both a travel narrative across Mongolia and Central Asia and a source for the rise of Quanzhen Taoism.
