A collection of devotional treatises by the German mystic Jacob Boehme, written in the early 1620s and the only one of his books printed in his lifetime. Addressing repentance, true resignation, regeneration and the supersensual life, these works are more practical and accessible than his complex theosophical writings. They offer a good introduction to Boehme's spirituality and to a thinker whose influence extended to Pietism, Romanticism and later Christian theosophy.
