Biography of Dharmasvamin, a Tibetan Monk Pilgrim

by George Roerich · George Roerich (trans.)

A translation of the Tibetan biography of Dharmasvamin, who travelled in India in the 1230s, shortly after the Turkic raids on Bihar. His eyewitness account of a damaged Nalanda still housing a small community is an important source for the end of Indian monastic Buddhism.
