Claudius Ptolemy's Tetrabiblos, written in the second century CE, is one of the most influential treatises on astrology in Western history. It presents a rational account of celestial influences, covering the nature of the planets, signs and aspects, as well as mundane and natal astrology. F. E. Robbins' translation for the Loeb Classical Library includes the Greek text. It is an essential primary source for the history of astrology.
