A comparative English edition of the Grimoire du Pape Honorius, the seventeenth- and eighteenth-century French grimoire falsely attributed to Pope Honorius III, which combines Catholic liturgy with conjurations of the infernal kings of the days. Rankine and Barron translate several printed versions, chart their differences and explain the text's notoriety. Distinct from the medieval Sworn Book of Honorius, with which it is often confused.
