The handbook for inquisitors written by the Catalan Dominican Nicholas Eymerich, inquisitor of Aragon, and printed in the sixteenth century with Francisco Peña's commentary. It defines heresy and procedure and contains an influential analysis of when the invocation of demons amounts to heresy, distinguishing the worship of latria and dulia from the mere claim to command spirits.
