The Book of Abramelin

A translation by Georg Dehn and Steven Guth of the work attributed to Abraham of Worms, based on German manuscript sources rather than the French manuscript used by Mathers in 1898. It describes a lengthy retreat of prayer and purification culminating in contact with one's guardian angel, followed by command over spirits through letter squares. This edition includes material absent from earlier versions and is significant for the study of the Abramelin tradition.
