The first English translation of the popular Portuguese Livro de São Cipriano, a sprawling chapbook grimoire of treasure lists, spells, exorcisms, divination and the legend of the converted sorcerer-saint Cyprian of Antioch. Leitão annotates the text and introduces its history in Iberia and Brazil, where it remains widely sold. An important source for the living Cyprianic tradition and for popular grimoire magic in the Lusophone world.
