The Gospel of Thomas

The Hidden Sayings of Jesus

by Marvin Meyer · Marvin Meyer (trans.)

A compact English translation of the Coptic Gospel of Thomas with notes on each saying and an interpretive essay by Harold Bloom. Meyer's annotations point out parallels in the canonical gospels and in other early Christian writings, making it a practical first edition for general readers.
