The Training and Work of an Initiate

by Dion Fortune

A short work in which Dion Fortune outlines the nature of the Western Mystery Tradition and the path of training for those who would serve as initiates. She discusses the qualities required of students, the place of the Masters, and the differences between Eastern and Western paths. It is a useful window into Fortune's views on esoteric discipline and the ethos of the Society of the Inner Light.
