The Yoga-System of Patañjali

An English translation, published in the Harvard Oriental Series, of the Yoga Sutras together with the commentary ascribed to Vyasa and Vacaspati Mishra's sub-commentary. It gave Western readers the classical commentarial context in which the sutras were traditionally read and long remained a scholarly standard.
