The Goetia of Dr Rudd

An edition of a seventeenth-century version of the Goetia, attributed to Dr Thomas Rudd, which pairs each of the seventy-two spirits with the Shem ha-Mephorash angel said to control it. This angelic counterbalance, absent from the Mathers-Crowley edition, changes how the text is read and worked. The editors include the full spirit list, seals, the Liber Malorum Spirituum context and extensive notes.
