An edition of the Clavis Inferni, an eighteenth-century manuscript grimoire attributed to St Cyprian of Antioch, notable for its coloured illustrations of the four demon kings of the cardinal points and their animal forms. The book transcribes and translates the Latin text, reproduces its seals and figures, and discusses the Cyprianic legend and the place of directional spirit kings in Solomonic magic.
