The Chicago occult publisher L. W. de Laurence's edition of the Key of Solomon, largely reproducing Mathers' translation with added material on talismans and the Chaldean and Hebrew names. Despite its derivative nature, it circulated widely through mail-order catalogues and became influential in the Caribbean, West Africa and American folk magic. A historically significant book for understanding how Solomonic magic spread to popular audiences in the twentieth century.
