Joseph H. Peterson's edition and translation of the Liber Iuratus Honorii, one of the oldest surviving medieval grimoires, likely dating from the thirteenth or fourteenth century. The text presents an elaborate program of prayer, purification and ritual aimed at achieving the vision of God and commanding spirits. Peterson provides the Latin text with an English translation and textual notes. It is an important source for medieval ritual magic.
