An English translation of the Hebrew Sefer Raziel ha-Malakh, the medieval Jewish compilation of cosmology, angelology, divine names and amuletic magic traditionally said to have been given by the angel Raziel to Adam. The book was printed in Amsterdam in 1701 and itself became a protective object. Savedow's version reproduces the seals and diagrams. A useful entry point to the Hebrew magical tradition that lies behind the Latin Sepher Raziel.
