Sepher Raziel

Liber Salomonis

by Don Karr & Stephen Skinner

An edition of an English Sepher Raziel from a 1564 manuscript in the British Library, the Latin-derived Solomonic book of angels, astral magic and divine names quite distinct from the Hebrew Sefer Raziel ha-Malakh. Karr and Skinner transcribe the text, which covers stones, herbs, beasts, times, purity and holy names, and set it in the context of medieval Solomonic literature. Volume six of the Sourceworks of Ceremonial Magic and a rare primary source.
